Polishing is used to enhance the appearance of, specially stainless steel coils and sheets; it can also increase the sanitary benefits of stainless.
Silicon-based pads or diamond solutions can be used in the "wet" and, resp. "dry" polishing processes.
The removal of oxidization is also called polishing. To prevent further oxidization, polished surfaces may be coated with wax, oil, or lacquer. (This is of particular concern for copper alloy products such as brass and bronze.)
Our multi-head flat surface finishing lines can be equipped for all common standard finishes, from a grain to buffed-mirror. We also can "create" any special finish to match your needs.
