BUILD TO ORDER CUSTOM DESIGNED
We supply both operator-fed and robotic downspout elbow seaming machines, able to deliver 3-4 elbows/minute.
A 'typical' description of the equipment is as follows:
1 SEAMING MACHINE
The Seaming Machine is for connecting two Bent-Tube halves together, by mechanical seam.
The operator puts the parts manually into the machine and starts the working cycle by hand levers.
The seam is obtained with hydraulically operated tools.
The side cylinders are controlled with proportional valves and measuring sensors.
Interchangeable tools are provided for different product sizes/types.
The tools are made of high quality hardened toolsteel and CNC-machined.
Tool changeover time: approx. 20-25 min.
The machine is complete with its own hydraulic power unit, 18.5 kW.

2 EDGE FORMING UNIT
The collar of Bent-Tube is formed in a separate, also hydraulically operated Edge Forming Unit.
The hydraulic pressure is taken from the power unit of the Seaming Machine.^
OPERATION EQUIPMENT
The operation equipment consists of a "Siemens" control unit, for manual or automatic use; with main switch that can be locked, overheat control, fuses and emergency stop.
3 PARTS LOADING / UNLOADING WITH ROBOT (OPTION) - for totally unmanned production
The Seaming Machine can be equipped with a Robot for automatic parts loading & unloading.
The Robot picks up the two components from a loading table and takes them to the Seaming Machine.
After seaming, it moves the Bent-Tube to the Edge Forming unit; and then finally drops the finished product into a storage box, for further handling and packaging.
