Typically these Systems can handle tubes as follows, with wall thicknesses from 2mm to 8mm:
round section tubes

square section tubes
60 → 175mm
rectangular section tubes
80 x 40 → 250 x 100mm
… the max. bundle weight being 3500 kg, with these dimensions:

Hexagonal, square and rectangular bundles can be formed.
In most cases much customized, the Systems often include:
- fixed or variable geometry entry roll tables
- tube scarfing units
- manual or automatic strapping equipment
- post-strapping bundle handling chain-conveyors, frontal and lateral off-loaders
- a water drainage system
